The Guard Dog Empty
PostSubject: The Guard Dog   The Guard Dog I_icon_minitimeMon May 24, 2010 7:01 pm

Days and Nights had passed, the darkness chased around the Light, the children laughed and played, then whined and slept. The People gossiped, the knights cheerfully talked, all around her wolf ears twitched. Even though this wasn’t the Head of Defenses job; that was the reason why she use to be so great, she didn’t judge people, she didn’t put herself above anyone. In fact she did jobs (even ones she hadn’t had too) Better then most. She hadn’t slept at all since she had been here, nor did she eat. Her crimson eyes staring off to the horizon, they were almost as distant then what she looked at.

No one had spoken to her, she only spoke to the people under her, in day’s she had been in tower one, in dawns and dusks she had been at two, and at nights she spent at three. She had ignored anyone who had told her too rest, No. She didn’t need any, Payne had liked it up here, the solitude, it gave her time to think. Although there was no threat of invasion, she still never let down her guard, she often would stare up towards the castle, to see if anything was the matter, see if any problems would occur, but it never did; all and all this was an utopia.

Payne had told herself, many of times, that she didn’t belong here, she belonged captured at the soul society, she some how, some times blamed herself, maybe if she had been along sides with Enrya and William, it wouldn’t have gotten this band, she tilted her head, her long silver hair following the movement of her back, like a lion’s mane, they wouldn’t of had to suffer, her eyes closed, and she sighed, as she jumped on one of the higher points of the gates, staring down towards the ground.

But logic; has always over come that thought. She knew she was strong, but sooner or later she would have been taken down. She stood up on it, and stared off into the distance, not moving at all, but the soft breathes she would take making her chest move up and down, and even then it seemed to slow down, the wind blew causing her red scarf to fly backwards, three of her tails had managed to curl around her legs, as the other two swayed softly, showing how calm she had become, although if the person that was staring at her had been observant, they would see her hand floating over her blade, awaiting for anyone to dare come within distance of her eye sight.

She hadn’t talked to anyone, in fact few knew her name, mainly just William and whoever had been there when she had been recruited. She didn’t trust any one of them, only William, and even that was hardly, while she was protecting the city and the castle, the she-wolf had been protecting herself from blades, and people. She stood their, like a great statue, her eyes had been cold on the horizon.

She was like...the stereo typical guard dog, mean, cold, caring for only doing one thing, and that was protecting. Had this wolf became a lap dog? Of course not, she was still wild, she had always convinced herself....Right? She sniffed, everything was a normal day in Prussia, children playing, and the light still in the sky.

Before his arrival....

The sound of the harsh wind could be heard throughout the are outside of the walls, the forest outside of the walls seem to rustle and groan uncomfortable due to the harsh winds of the day. Or maybe that was something else little more then a noise could be heard when a crashing noise could be heard even by those on the walls of Prussia the land of the rogues. The forest's edge broke apart leaves scattered and tree's were flattened as three dark figures came out scrambling against each other, hissing and roaring could be heard from the ball of scrambling figures those on the wall would wonder what was making such a noise. The three figures were actually three hollows fighting each other as they were starving it was survival of the fittest right now and no one knew who would win in this little hollow scuffle. The ball of hollows suddenly sprang apart as they stared at each other long and hard their muscles tensed waiting for someone to make the first move. Neither of the three hollows moved their breathing was ragged they were not completely stupid one could tell but two of them seemed to be completely focused on food the third seemed to be focused on escaping from here quickly.

The first of the hollows was bigger then the other two, but his massive size slowed him down although he needed only to get one clean hit in and it might as well be over. He stood at fifty feet and who knew how much he could weigh his skin was a dark sickening green like that of vomit, his eyes like all hollows eyes were a cat like yellow that seemed to look at nothing. His body was humanoid other then the massive limbs tail that hung from his tailbone it was like that of a reptiles it didn't move unless he needed it to, the hole that marked him as a hollow was directly where a humans heart would have been. Too bad this pitiful creature was no longer human, but it didn't seem to mind maybe it found this existence better then the one it had when it was a human but only it knew.

The second hollow was more like an animal, to be exact it was more like a monkey with no fur upon it's body it stood on two legs but leaned on it's knuckles for stability. It's arms were long and skinny as were the legs it stood upon but one could tell what this hollow lacked in strength it made up for with agility and speed. It's mask was a bit different it did not have the long flat teeth most hollows did it's teeth were fangs now oddly enough this hollow didn't have a tail.

The third and last hollow was nothing like the last two it wasn't humanoid in any fashion it was on four legs which were well muscled. It was of feline type one could easily tell from it's head to the tail this hollow was about twenty one feet long and only about six feet high, it's skin was more like plate armor pushing together to protect the soft flesh under it. This hollow's skin was a dark purple that seemed to gleam under the sunlight of the day, along it's back or to be more exact it's spine were vicious looking spines. They were about a foot or so long and very sharp looking they were standing straight up instead of laying back as they usually did when it wasn't in battle or scared. It's paws concealed razor sharp claws meant to tear flesh away from bone, the eyes were not without their intelligence as well they were a light purple color. The most interesting thing one might notice about this hollow was the the seven foot tail, the tail was more of a whip as the edge's were like blades and the end of the tail was a very deadly looking barb meant to pierce it's opponent's once it finished them off.

The first two hollows looked upon the cat like hollow realizing it was smaller then both of them and that if they teamed up they may actually get a meal. Rather then fight and possibly harm or kill the other they turn on the cat like hollow now, they charged but the cat like hollow was fast and desperate it went to one side and using the feint it jumped to the other side before running away. But the two holllows would not be denied their meal they charged after the cat like hollow roaring as they did they wouldn't be able to catch the cat like hollow if it were a straight run. But the walls of Prussia stopped the cat like hollow in it's tracks as it could not leap or climb over them it was trapped between two hungry hollows and a hard place literally. It turned back towards the two lumbering hollows as they caught up roaring with delight as they realized their prey was trapped, But the monkey like one got too excited it seemed and went for the kill. The cat like hollow was trapped but it was far from done an animal is most dangerous when trapped is what they say and it is a very true saying, the seven foot tail of the cat like hollow whipped out so quickly the other hollows could not see it. The only thing they did see was the severed arm of the monkey like hollow flying through the air and then watching it fall to the ground with a light thump, the cut was so clean that the monkey like hollow never even felt it's arm being severed.

His arrival....

The sound of the wind seemed to die down now as a strange Reiatsu filled the air, it was violent and raging but calming and kind at the same time. It was then a person appeared on the ground but a few feet from the hollows who were fighting just beyond the walls of Prussia, he made no attempt to hide his reiatsu as it was clearly felt by all those around him now. He looked at the hollows and smiled slightly he wondered what he was doing here true he had a feeling but that didn't tell him why he was here he just always knew something amusing was going to happen if he followed his feelings. The hollows feeling his Reiatsu turned to look at him the two humanoid hollows didn't understand they were clearly outmatched by this tiny figure that seemingly appeared from nowhere. But the cat like hollow could feel the pressure as it had actual thoughts it was afraid of this man it could feel his power pressuring it's body so much that it wanted to flee the scene as fast as it could but it was actually too afraid to move now.

This man was the Captain of the Kido corps for the shinigami Tsuna Youshi, But wouldn't know it just from looking at him he wasn't wearing any kind of shinigami uniform. His long dark brown hair fell down in small waves past his shoulders and back almost to his hips, his almost snow white skin seemed to glow in the sunlight of the day. His hair covered his left eye as usual leaving only his right eye exposed at the time, it was a light dark green color like the leaves in springtime. His body was not that of a man's it was shaped like a woman's one could see even under his clothes. he had an hourglass figure with a small waist the rest of his body seemed skinny or slim as some would say. But under his clothes Tsuna hid a wiry body that held not one trace of fat, his body was skinny or slim whichever you prefer but it was a mass of muscles. Across his back was a finely polished ebony sheath colored like that of coffee with a lotalot of milk in it tannish brown, it was polished to the point of perfection or at least as close as one could get to perfection. The top of the sheath was wrapped in a gold cloth as was the hilt of the blade that stuck out from the sheath just behind his head. Oddly enough Tsuna wore no shoes finding shoes to be uncomfortable, he also found them to be annoying as the shoes messed with his inner balance and he needed his balance. His upper body was covered in a dark green Chinese imperial robe with gold lace around it, his pants were mere cotton and a bit baggy they were black kung fu pants meant for martial arts training but he just liked the feel of them.

He stared at the hollows with no real emotion on his face although he smiled it was more like a polite smile the hollows bristled and lurched towards him a bit. Tsuna held up a hand and they stopped, he smiled for real this time "I wouldn't attack a stranger before asking their name it's just rude" he said to them in a playful tone wondering if they would even get the joke. The monkey like hollow now with only one arm charged Tsuna who made a Tsk Tsk noise with his mouth, Using shunpo he disappeared and reappeared on the side of the hollow floating in the air beside it's head. His arm was extended and he held one finger out towards it's skull he looked sad as he whispered "Hado number four Byakurai" as he said this the hollow turned towards him. The words had activated the lightning kido and he watched as the energy gathered into his fingertip in the form of light before blasting out through the skull of the hollow. The hollow gave a groan as it fell to it's knee's and began to slowly disappear into thin air, the smell of death hung in the air now Tsuna thought to himself there probably was no real smell but still it hung in the air. Tsuna hated to kill things even mindless hollows weighed on his heart, he looked to the humanoid hollow that was staring at him through narrowed eyes, it might have been to brightest thing but it knew the little man was a threat to him.

Too bad it didn't realize raw strength wouldn't overcome Tsuna or maybe it could have lived a little longer, Tsuna sighed lightly as the hollow swung it's massive fist towards him. Tsuna didn't bother using shunpo to move this time he merely jumped up and over the fist before landing on top of it, the hollow looked at him stupidly like it didn't understand how he had gotten there. Which wasn't much over a surprise it hadn't seen him move due to the massive size of his own fist it obscured his view of the tiny little man he was trying so hard to kill now. "How foolish of you my mindless little friend" he said in a soft and melodic tone, he smirked a bit at his joke of calling this big hollow little but knew the hollow would never understand his joke. The hollow growled in rage as the little man said something he couldn't understand, he wrenched his arm to the side smashing it into a tree hoping to crush the little man to death. But when his arm went though the tree Tsuna was no where to be found now, the hollow looked from side to side in confusion. The cat like hollow had seen Tsuna move at the last second to above the humanoid hollow and wondered what Tsuna was going to do now, after all he had struck the other hollow down with just a few words it thought. Tsuna looked down at the hollow as it still looked for him, how tedious to kill something that was so below him he thought to himself as he opened his palm and held it out towards the hollow.

"Hado number one Sho" he said in that same soft and melodic tone, as an invisible force slammed into the hollow, the hollow cried out as the pressure of the invisible force crushed him. The pain only lasted a second or two for the hollow as Tsuna had enhanced the kido spell with more reiatsu then usual he didn't want the hollow to suffer even if it had to die. He slowly descended back to the ground and looked at the cat like hollow that watched him, but it's body stayed completely still as if the cat like hollow had become an immovable statue. He smiled warmly at the cat like hollow as he spoke "are you going to attack as your friends just did?" he said in a joking tone, but to his own surprise the cat like hollow shook it's head at him. This was the first hollow that actually understood what Tsuna meant, he was very interested in this hollow now so he shunpo'ed over to it causing it to tense in fright. Tsuna looked dead into it's eyes "do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth right now?" he asked seriously, the cat like hollow nodded it's head indeed the hollow could understand him Tsuna thought to himself.

He was so interested in the hollow now that he had forgotten he was right outside the walls of Prussia and had just killed two hollows so all of their guards could see. He wondered why this hollow could understand him when the other two clearly could not maybe this one was a sentimental hollow although that made little sense to Tsuna. Maybe the hollows were evolving in some way he thought but crossed that thought out as this was the only one he had met so smart before. This was going to be a long and interesting day Tsuna thought to himself he was going to learn more about this hollow and why it was so smart he made it a goal of sorts.

She had stared out into the horizon and saw three figures, as she pulled out her blade, she paused, then her fur and hair went up on it’s ends, as she sent a growl out, the beast would pause to look up; if in a very minute a large reitsu signature wasn’t let out. She blinked, and her ears twitched, as she jumped down, she felt the wind blow up, causing her hair to appear more like dust behind her, she landed on the ground, landing in a low crouch, her hair slowly, falling down on her back, as she walked forward; more animal like then ever.

Her crimson eyes had blanked out the two hollow, the one that was her main interest had been the shinigami. She kept low, as she saw him take out two of them, easily. Hmm, he had to be high up to know all of that, she stared at him, her signature had been so well hidden, he could have easily thought the reitsu he was sensing had been that of the hollows. She watched as the pathetic shinigami speak to the hollow, she ran forward, faster then the Hollow would have thought, and a flash of silver could be seen, and the woman seemed to appear out of no where....in her rather short stature; even with her dog..wolf ears.

The Hollow hadn’t been able to scream, it wouldn’t have realized it was sliced in half until it’s upper body hit the ground. She kept her back to him, and he would recognize the uniform, a shinigami; if he had been old enough he would have known..that this was Payne Ookami, an ex-shinigami captain. One of the more powerful ones; then she disappeared a day before the arrancars had attacked. Everyone had thought she had betrayed them; if that was so, then why did she kill the hollow?

”Your a long way from home; Shinigami.” the woman spoke, her wolf tails swaying, as she placed her blade towards the man. She stared at him, then paused, her job was to protect, if the man meant no harm, she would send him on his way; if he wanted trouble..he bit off more than he can chew, her crimson eyes seemed to stare into his own, as if she had been staring into his soul, the violation would make any want to shiver in fright, the woman, seemed to have more distant eyes then the hollow she just killed, he could also see pain, if he dared to look hard enough.

”Welcome, you see, I protect the city that lies behind those walls; you are a threat to me.” she explained, her ears going back, and two of her fans seem to slip out from beneath her top lip, as if she was a dog, snarling at him.

Tsuna was in the middle of thinking when Payne moved to kill the hollow, he had only an instant to react which he took disappearing with a shunpo. He had grabbed the hollow just barely moving in time as Payne struck and moved them both from the area, but he was not quick enough Payne had cut into his right arm he looked at the cut calmly. The blood was flowing freely but it was not a serious wound, he now looked to Payne with a slight smile on his lips but it was more polite then happy. She was an odd one he thought those ears were cute on her though he thought to himself, he wondered if she would let him touch them probably not seeing as she had just threatened him but one could hope couldn't they. He stared into her eyes seemingly ignoring the fact that they seemed to stare into his soul his smile didn't even twitch on his lips as he stared at her calmly, the silence growing between them seemed to become heavy.

The cat like hollow behind Tsuna was shaking in fear both these little people were dangerous, he could sense it but he looked to Tsuna. This one it thought saved him from the others blade it would have killed him before he knew what had happened this made him an ally did it not he wondered could he really trust the little man or would he turn and kill him at any second. But he realized that the other one the female would have killed him period if not for this one he owed the male his life whether he liked it or not, he would have to repay this debt before he was able to leave. He watched as the male and female stared at one another it seemed like a fight was going to break out but the male he wasn't reaching for the blade on his back.

Tsuna noted the shinigami outfit that payne was wearing, he wondered if she was a true shinigami or if she just managed to beat one and take their uniform. She obviously wasn't normal she had managed to wound him while he was using Shunpo not an easy task even when he was carrying a hollow many times his size. He wondered if he was going to have to fight and if he did would he really try or just wait until the right moment to leave the area before she could follow him. Ah so many choices and so little time he thought to himself by now he was starting to realize he was being rude and not responding to her statements at all what a careless thing to do he thought to himself and foolish she might get the wrong idea if he said nothing in return.

He decided to break the tense silence with a light laugh, "are you so sure I am a shinigami?" he asked in a soft and melodic tone. He was still looking into her eyes with just his right one "I mean do i seem to be wearing shinigami uniforms or clothing?" he said in a matter of fact tone as he walked over to the cat like hollow. He looked carefully at the sharp spikes along the back of the cat like hollows spine there was a small gap between them almost like a person was suppose to ride between them this thought crossed his mind and he smiled a bit. He threw his leg over the hollows back being very careful not to lend on any of the spikes for who knew how painful that could be, effectively he was sitting on the back of a hollow looking at Payne now. "I believe this is a case of mistaken identity because you cannot prove I am a shinigami and I cannot prove to you that I am not a shinigami Miss". He spoked calmly and in a carefree tone as he looked at her one would believe he was a simple fool had they not seen him take out two hollows with the lowest of Kido spells within seconds. He couldn't help it anymore he had to ask "hey I have to ask you how did you get that body? I mean the ears and tail not your actual body". He held up his hands "I mean not that you don't have a nice body oh wait that came out wrong I'm going to shut up now miss" he said in an exasperated voice. He was practically digging his own grave no doubt Payne would get very angry with him now what a foo he was sometimes he thought to himself. The cat like hollow seemed to just stand there not caring that Tsuna had climbed ontop of it's back, it was too afraid to move right now but it seemed the male was very talkative.

PostSubject: Re: The Guard Dog   The Guard Dog I_icon_minitimeTue May 25, 2010 3:52 pm

She felt her hit nothing, she stopped, and she stood in a low crouch, her nose twitching, as she turned to the scent of blood; very little, but it was in the air, thick to one with a strong nose such as her own. She turned, and stopped, as she saw the male turn to let the hollow down, she blinked, the man had moved causing her to scrap his arm, she would have had a clean cut on the hollow if he hadn’t moved. She stared into his eyes,as if it was a “who blinks first challenge” and it seemed centuries had passed(she personally knew that feeling) the hollow seemed to quiver behind him. She snorted, how pathetic. If she didn’t kill that thing a weaker power could. She glared at them, and then a man began to speak.

Her eyes narrowed to him, and she put her blade away, her hand still hovering over the blade. She listened to this man, how she knew he was a shinigami; the attitude she supposed. The fact that he thought he could so easily march up onto here,as if he owned the place. She had been a shingiami captain; she knew the attitude. She stared at him blankly, but she had to agree acting on impulse was rather out of character for herself; all she knew was the hollow was an enemy, something that would turn the city into oblivion. She ignored what he stated and her eyes shifted to the hollow. ”If you were in that weak hollows place, and the hollow had been you.. it wouldn’t have let you live.” she spoke, her tails swaying. She spoke in a matter-o-factly tone.

She then stared at the man taking in every detail; true there was not a shinigami uniform on him, he could have very well been just a rogue shinigami. She couldn’t kick the idea, there were so many in the city. She paused, and then her ears twitched as she spoke about her tails and ears. She went to speak, but the blabbering imbecile spoke something she wasn’t use to..a compliment. She blinked, her eyes widening, then narrowing into little slits. ”This has always been my body, when i was alive, to when I died.” She spoke, with a sort of confidence to it. Her eyes closed, then her hand placed itself on her blade, not unsheathing it. She then glanced towards him. ”Now, your turn to answer me truthfully; Are you of the Soul Society?” she questioned, as her tails swayed in curiosity, her ears perking up towards him.

She stared the man down; she had to remember that they were trying to stay neutral...her grip tightened then loosened, repeatedly. She stared towards him awaiting the question, as she would often glance towards the hollow, her piercing crimson eyes staring at the hollow, then the man, then the hollow, then the man, so on and so forth.

Tsuna smiled listening to her words she was obviously taking his carefree attitude to be arrogance when it was far from that. He only came her because he had gotten the feeling to come here he didn't want to fight the hollows or this woman neither was appealing to him. He brought his arm up to his face and looked at it as the blood was still flowing slightly he licked the excess blood away from his arm it was a shame really he hated having to get new robes every time. But if he didn't he would be walking around in a torn apart robe with bloodstains all over it and he couldn't have that now could he, he laughed lightly at his own mental joke realizing that neither she or the hollow under him would understand. He wondered why the wolf like woman was so hostile maybe she had recently been attacked by a shinigami or maybe they killed one of her family members he pushed the thoughts away thinking they weren't important at this moment.

He arched an eyebrow at her and looked at the hollow, "That might be so but if you had been this hollow and I had been you I would have still spared you". He said softly in a kind tone to be honest Tsuna didn't care what race someone was as long as they didn't try to kill him he could get along with them this often separated him from others. He wasn't some amazing saint that wouldn't kill but he had a kind heart that didn't like to kill no matter what the being was it still possessed life in it and a death was a death period he thought to himself. Look at things from his way Tsuna had been harmed by this wolf like woman and yet he harbored no anger or hate towards her she was merely doing what she thought was right. This didn't make her thinking wrong or right it just meant it was her belief that this hollow should die and many would agree even though this hollow was not some simple beast looking to kill everything.

When she asked if he was of the soul society he looked thoughtful, he could answer truthfully or lie he didn't think either was going to go over well. If he told the truth it seemed she would attack him instantly as her hand hovered over the hilt of her blade, on the other hand if he lied there was no doubt in his mind that she would attack. He was conflicted inside this wolf like woman would try to kill him if she attacked and if she did so there was no way he was going to just dodge like he had last time he would strike back with intent to kill. But of course this was not what Tsuna wanted he just wanted to find out why this hollow could understand him, and if possible make the wolf like woman a friend of his. Not an ally but an actual friend and he knew as well as anyone friends didn't lie to each other so he sighed lightly as he knew he would have to tell her who he truly was, still he didn't want to do it.

The hollow stood still but seeing as neither the male or female had moved yet it relaxed a tiny bit and stood straight up slowly so as not to alarm either one of them. Tsuna looked into Payne's eyes with a kind gentle look in his eyes as he spoke his voice was soft and melodic like that of a singer, "I am indeed part of the Soul society miss my name is Tsuna Youshi Captain of the Kido corps". He spoke his rank boredly like he didn't care that he was a captain and in fact he didn't, Tsuna didn't consider himself better then those of a lower rank after all even a captain can die like a dog he told himself. Arrogance was actually one of the few things that managed to annoy Tsuna to the point were he wanted to physically harm someone so they would be taken down a peg or two.

She stared towards him so he was the new kidou corps leader. She paused, then felt herself bite her tongue. ”Payne Ookami, Ex captain of the sixth division, Head of Defense within Prussia.” Some habits; never died. She was taught to be respectful, and give her name when some one would introduce theirself, she taught anyone under her that also. The sixth division was known for it’s polite-ness and even though most of them had been royal and thought they had all been better then all. She stared at him, not knowing if he would know that name or not, it had been long since she left it.

She stared at him; it would appear. That they had nothing to speak over now, she began to walk off, before jumping on the gates that lay about ten feet away, her staring at them.. She returned to her original stance, like that of a guard dog, her body crouched low, her facing the horizon. If he had been intelligent, which more than likely he was, he would know she had seemed more like the type to push away.

She would glance to the group some times, but she held no curiosity towards them, she held nothing to be truthful, only until a few minutes later she glanced towards them, their presence had been annoying her, well...the hollows that is. She sighed and shunpoed in front of them, about two or three feet away. She stared at them, her cold red eyes, and her arms crossed. She then spoke up. ”You’re a long way from home, Captain..hollow.” she spoke the hollow part acidly, and she stared down towards them.

She didn’t know the relationship between the soul society and Prussia, she knew that she was an enemy of the soul society, if rules and regulations had stayed the same. But she was a single person she, couldn’t risk the soul society being enemies of Prussia and having a captain, of the kidou corps of that wandering near it. But she also couldn’t have herself attacking him, she glanced around, and ripped off a shred of the sleeve of her arm. She handed the strip of cloth to him, for his wound. She glanced at him, she know had his scent. She could hunt him down, and realize where he was. It was just a plus side to being animalistic.

He continued to smile at her as she said her name Payne it was an interesting name to say the least he thought to himself he could admit he hadn't heard it often. He didn't know much about the sixth division but he knew one had to be quite good in the art of combat and possess a Bankai to become one, of course there were some special exceptions here and there he knew. But Payne looked like she could handle her own in a fight no matter who she fight with but he wondered how strong she really was, although he didn't want to use himself to test out her power. He was going to say it was a pleasure to meet her but she suddenly jumped away to the gates and crouched on them looking like a silent guardian. He smiled at the thought she was rather silent he thought to himself only replying to his words he wondered if she would ever speak if she was never spoken to it was a rather interesting thought. Of course at this point he found that making friends with her would be quite difficult she seemed to hate the shinigami she once was and was a pushing type he told himself.

But still he wanted to get to know Payne, she seemed interesting in many ways but he knew if he pushed to hard to make friends with her he would end up pushing her away more so then now. So he turned his attention to the hollow under him, he hopped off of the hollow suddenly and looked at it calmly it returned his gaze with that of a wary animal. Without warning Tsuna bowed to the hollow "I apologize for sitting on you like that but in case Payne attacked again I wanted to be able to move you quickly" he said in the same kind voice he used when speaking to Payne. The cat like hollow was surprised who would have thought the male would apologize to him, he nodded his head in a way of showing that he accepted the apology however rather odd it was. The thing was Tsuna did not discriminate against anyone be they hollow, shinigami or even the one they called Sin he didn't care he gave everyone a chance.

This trait could backfire on him one day he knew this logically but he didn't care if it happened, it did there was no use worrying about something that might happen in the future. It was about now that Payne came back appearing a few feet away from him and the cat like hollow which tensed slightly as it hadn't seen her move at all, Tsuna on the other hand saw her completely as she had moved from so far away. He laughed lightly as she called him Captain hollow it was rather amusing to him as she could tell but he could sense the way she hated the word hollow it seemed she had a foul dislike of the beings. "Indeed I am far from where i should be but why do you care so much? I merely came here because I was supposed to be here Payne, I was called here i believe to save this hollow's life so that something in the future may happen". He said this without a break in confidence he truly believed this was for a higher purpose so much that he had crossed the world to come here on just one little feeling within the pit of his gut.

He took the piece of cloth offered to him and wrapped it tightly around his arm to stifle the blood flowing from his arm he smiled warmly at Payne. "Thank you very much Payne" he said with a sincere tone even though she had done nothing but shun his kindness so far he was still the same gentle and kind person he had been since the beginning of their odd meeting.

She saw the cat-like hollow tense up, and she felt her tails sway in approval of the hollows act. She then glanced towards him, as he grabbed the clothe and wrapped around his arm. She glanced away from him. ”Do not think anything of it; I am merely doing this because if the soul society is an ally to Prussia then I will simply have to show remorse in what i did.” She spoke as if she was just saying hello, now if he had knew Payne, or anything of her, he would know this...rudeness...was just her attitude, just her own walls around herself, stronger then that of the ones on the castle. She continued, resting her head on her hand, as the arm rested on the other arm, which was wrapped around her frame.

”If my observation has proved you were approaching Prussia with a dark intent. Then I will have to annihilate you and your..pet...But if you are telling the truth, then I will send you both on your merry way.” she spoke with a shrug, as she buried her nose and lower half of her head within the crimson scarf, that seemed to be inches from the ground. She then glanced towards the sky. She then began to talk again. [Color=red]”But until then...” she spoke, then sat down, her tails falling over her legs, and her ears going against her head as she scratched them. ”I have to watch over you two.” she spoke in a monotone voice, as she rest one of her hands over her blade, as the other lay in her lap.

A breeze blew, a nice cold one, causing her achromatic hair to blow back, and her ears to flicker against it. She glanced towards the sky, a single starch cloud floating towards the sun, to block it off, with ease. Her mind had slowly began to float off, like that cloud. But she still had a grasp on reality, in fact, her ears twitched at any sound that was made. She didn’t believe in higher meanings. Her eyes closed, and for that instant her crimson eyes didn’t pierce anything, she let out a soft barely audible sigh, as she continued to think. She believed in fighting and running, protecting and killing. She believed in a time that once was; before all this petty war. But for her to keep that belief...she’d have to fight for it. Her eyes opened, and they glanced to the ground.

But war..had been the one thing she had always been good at. No matter what. She glanced downwards. War had been the only thing she was good at; in fact, after all this. She planned on leaving Prussia, they would have no need for her in a time of peace. She looked towards the sky again, the sun was high in the sky, it had to be some time in the afternoon. She could still hear the children playing in the city, her ears flickering, at how oblivious they were.

Tsuna listened to her words it was like she was reading out of a book, like she had no real emotion but the anger and distrust she already felt for him and the cat like hollow next to him. He wondered if he could break such feelings and help her become a better person but then kicked himself mentally so say she wasn't a good person was wrong of him she might not be the nicest of people but she was better then most. He looked at her even as she looked away did she fear contact with those who were willing to trust her because she thought she would betray their trust in her he wondered. Such thoughts were complex and unwanted he told himself maybe if he asked her directly she would respond and open up this he doubted very much more likely she would continue to be the way she was. He sighed lightly as he began to think to himself for a bit, there was one way he thought that maybe she could get her to trust him but of course it could still backfire.

He decided he would go with the potential backfire plan, while it could backfire it could also gain him a friend and he found that to be worth the risk. "Even so you could have just not offered this piece of cloth and maybe that would have been the cause of my death" he said in a joking tone but he was serious at the same time it was an odd mixture. He sat down and at the same time the cat like hollow sat down as well next to him allowing Tsuna to lean on him as he rested, "I wonder if I had told you I wasn't a shinigami what would you have done Payne?". He was sure she would have attacked him for lying to her but he also wanted to hear the words from her mouth to see if she would answer his question truthfully as he had hers earlier.

As to answer her second statement he wondered did she want him to leave or did she care if he stayed here talking to her either way could mean his departure or his staying in the land of prussia at least for a little while. He looked into her eyes with a gentle expression "Payne do you wish me to leave? if so by all means I shall leave with my friend now never to bother you again". Every word you could hold Tsuna to he wouldn't stay here if he was unwanted to do so would go against his own policy of allowing others to do as they wished if he denied them that why should he have such a privilege. His words hung in the air as a soft breeze blew by rustling the leaves on the tree's and sending a cold wave through the area, the cat like hollow paid attention to their conversation still learning as they spoke more and more. It truly was confused by the male named Tsuna he was the first thing it had ever met that hadn't tried to kill anyone even after being wounded by the female called Payne, strange it thought as Payne would have not hesitated to kill Tsuna one bit it thought to itself.

Tsuna looked away from Payne now after saying what he wanted to say and stared at the clouds gathering in the sky, each was so free they had no worries. It made him want to be a cloud to be free of concerns or problems especially war the word war became something Tsuna disliked he didn't want to kill anymore he only killed because he was weak. He needed to become stronger then he was now he knew if he didn't he would disappear from this world just like so many of the nameless othes before him.

She glanced to him; then snorted shrugging one of her shoulders annoyed. She glanced towards him. ”You wouldn’t have, not unless you decide to go into a sand storm any time soon.” she spoke, talking about his wound, she then realized he probably didn’t have a clue she was talking about. ” I would have been able to smell the decay of your skin and the rot of the infection before you would have realized it.” she answered him, her eyes closing.”...Besides...the scent of blood....is foul and inharmonious.” she added, her voice filled with hate. Funny on how easily she could smell it, and he didn’t even want her to describe how the scent of rot and infection smelled like, she felt her ears go against her head at the thought.

Payne blinked. Hmm? She rolled her eyes yet again. ”I would have treated you the same as I do now.” she spoke. ”It’s not the species I hate, it’s the actions they decide to do.” She spoke without expression, as if it had been a fact. She stared to the hollow. With cold red eyes, almost as distant as the sun, yet were cold as a winters storm. As if saying, that is why i hate you; I hate you kind, considering atleast 99 percent of hollows are quiet mindless and violent. She then turned away from it.

Her eyes locked with his own, then he spoke. She turned her head from his own. How gentle he insisted on being had caused her to grow uncomfortable with it. The fur on her tails stuck up. ”I myself, would love you to leave, but since i am on duty of Prussia, and I have classified you as powerful, but not dangerous, you may stay.” she spoke, as she stared towards the castle. She glanced towards him. ”I could careless to be truthful.” she spoke harshly, before her ears stood on end, as she stared at him, but no at his eyes.

She was most certainly one of the most interesting people Tsuna had met in a long time he wanted to talk to her and get to know her better. It was like the personality she had drawn up around herself to push people away was making him want to understand her more, he truly was an odd fellow one that didn't fit in with any group destined to be alone most likely. He understood what she had meant about walking into a sandstorm but he listened to her speak anyways just to see what she said he found her to be entertaining would be the best word he wanted to understand her completely. He noted that her ears went back when she mentioned the smell of blood he nodded slowly while he couldn't truly smell as well as her he understood what she meant the inharmonious scent of something upset the balance of things. "The smell of blood I cannot smell like you but the scent of death I can smell better then any other being alive" he didn't say this with pride or even a tone of liking this ability though it was merely in his head. The smell of death always reminded him that he was not all powerful that he had no right t take the lives of others for no reason it reminded him he was once human.

He looked at her calmly noting that she would not look him in the eyes any longer he wondered if it was because only one eye was visible right now. He brushed back his long dark brown hair so she could see his left eye now if she bothered to look, the right was a light dark green color like the leaves in the spring while the left was a dark blue almost purple color. They seemed to gleam in the sunlight making them stand out from his plae white skin, he thought maybe she would look him in the eyes now seeing as he couldn't think of another reason she wouldn't look at him. She said she would have treated him the same even if he had lied to her honestly he couldn't believe that but if she said it he wouldn't deny it out loud. "Actions decide how you treat people? if this is true answer me this please, if your were not bound by the rules of Prussia and I had saved this hollow from you what would my actions make you decide on me?". He asked her seriously he wanted her true opinion on him he knew most would consider him insane maybe he really was insane he thought to himself, but he was pretty sure insane people didn't know they were insane. Although he could be wrong maybe they knew they were insane and they just didn't care because even if Tsuna knew he was insane he would act the same he thought to himself.

It was now he remembered her last statement and was a bit disapointed she said she didn't care if he left or stayed so what did she want. This question was his center of attention now if he didn't know what she wanted how could her make her happy or his friend the answer was he couldn't and he wanted her to be his friend. "So if I were to leave what would you do? go back to being the silent guardian of the Prussian walls Payne?" he wondered if she ever felt happy or if she had always felt this way. In a way Tsuna now knew why Payne was drawing him in it was because Payne was like how he used to be incomplete she wasn't who she was meant to be and he needed to help her become the person she was meant to be. Tsuna began to think about his human life mainly the beginning of his life he was such a fool nd such a dark person back then he had been a container of anger and he opened that container when anyone got near him. Because he was like that he had nearly killed a person at the mere age of thirteen for what there was no reason he had fought the other person because he had wanted to hurt him that was his only reason.

The cat like hollow lay there letting Tsuna speak it could feel the beat of his heart against it's side it was small compared to it's own heart. Of course Tsuna was much smaller then he was to the cat like hollow thought to itself, it was looking at Payne now confused she was so harsh to Tsuna why did he continue to be so kind in the hollow world kindness did not exist.

She was just as pale as him, but she still did not stare at him directly in the eyes. She glanced up noting the difference, but paying no heed. She stared at him, then began to speak, ” I would have killed you. You are a shinigami captain, one day that hollow will be strong enough to kill you, or an arrancar, and bent on destroying the natural balance of things.” She spoke, as if that was a stupid question, the truth would have hurt, but Payne had no idea what the meaning of, sympathy was. She didn’t have a conscious, she would like to think that is. Her ears twitched. She stared at him, her eyes cold, on him as if she had just been scolding a dog.

She stared to the hollow, then back to the sky, her eyes closing. He sure did ask a lot of questions, her tails twitched, and she heard him began to speak again. "So if I were to leave what would you do? go back to being the silent guardian of the Prussian walls Payne?" the question echoed through her mind, bouncing off of every crevice, every hidden secrete of herself, and this made her realize. She always was going to be alone, she felt her ears go limp a little at the thought, then she shrugged her shoulders, hoping it wasn’t noticeable. ”I protect, I am quiet. So I suppose you are correct, I’ve gone days without anyone, with only watching the wall, without sleep. I suppose after you leave, nothing will change.” She spoke with a nod of her head, and her arms crossed, her expression becoming a cold blank slate.

Had she been happy before..well yes there was a time when she was happy, but it was short, and it ended in betrayal.

Tsuna looked at her with the same gentle expression, to him it seemed Payne was in pain and he wanted to help her, he wanted her pain to disappear. He suddenly laughed lightly and smiled warmly at Payne as she said she would have killed him if not for the rules of Prussia, while he didn't doubt her power she wouldn't be able to kill him he was no fool if he thought he was going to lose he would flee quickly. He looked to the cat like hollow who looked back at him calmly as they leaned against each other and couldn't see any malice in it's eyes, he could only see the desire to learn and maybe a bit of hunger. He looked back to Payne "I don't believe so Payne think about it in this fashion say you are the hollow, how would you see the shinigami?" he wondered if she could even see another being's perspective on things the way he could. "If you were a hollow I believe you would hate the shinigami and wish to kill them because they are different then you or possibly because they kill other hollows, yet look at this hollow" he pointed to the cat like hollow he was leaning against. "He has not once tried to attack you or me even while my guard was down in the middle of going to sit down he didn't strike at me when he had the perfect chance how do you explain that?". He didn't raise his voice or get angry he spoke in that same soft melodic tone that he always spoke in, the cat like hollow realized that they were talking about him and looked at them curiously.

He addressed the second issue at hand now, Payne had tried to shrug it away but his question about what she would do after he left hung in her head he could tell easily. Her ears went down before she managed to shrug the question away and answer him in that same monotone voice, he rested his head in his hands looking at her from a tilted angle now. "Nothing would change if I left but what if I were to stay here Payne? wouldn't things become different then?" he asked in a quiet tone he wondered if he had overstepped his bounds by asking those questions but he felt the need to. He wanted Payne to know she didn't have to be alone in this world because those who were alone in this world were often the ones in the most pain, and if he could help it Tsuna would make it so Payne never felt that hurt again. The cat like hollow lost the conversation now as it went beyond it's understanding things like this had no place in his world the only things in his world that mattered were survival and learning more.

Tsuna felt something shaking along his back, he knew what it was right away Jigoku wanted to come out and talk to everyone Tsuna wasn't so sure that was a good idea. But she really wanted to get out so he reached around to his back and gripped the hilt of the blade pulling it out slowly so as not to alarm Payne. As the blade came out it sounded like it was grinding against it's sheath this meant Jigoku was very excited or happy that she was coming out most of the time it was both. He laid the tachi blade across his lap and concentrated on the spirit of his Zanpaktou so she could materialize into the real world.

She crossed her arms, and her eyes closed. She listened to what he said, and she glanced towards the hollow. She stood up, and scratched the back of her ears, causing her hair to ruffle up. She glared to him. ”If I was a hollow, I wouldn’t be weak to a point a shinigami would save me. “ She spoke, with a nod of her head, she couldn’t stay much longer, she had a city to protect, that and she could sense the sun being pulled towards the bottom, she scanned the hollow. She could see maybe....in the future the cat might have been a fraccion. She stared towards it, her red eyes looking over each

”I would have killed you by now, if I was that hollow, but he hasn’t because i can sense a loyalty from him...something most don’t have.” She spoke, actually softly, she held out her hand, then paused, before running her hands over the snout of the hollow, her demon-like claws running up and down it, as she stared down to it. Then she looked to the man. She pulled her hand away, as she remembered what it was like..to be called a monster...for someone to automatically hate you. She showed no remorse as it played through her head.

“Monster!” the silver head girl was thrown to the ground as the mudd from the rainstorm before got all over her. She hadn’t eaten in weeks, and had no power to fight back. “Admit it, you killed the whole flock and ate them raw! Demon!” The young girl had been kicked. “Your just like the rest of those demons.” Another kick to the side, causing the child to be kicked to a house, as she stood up slowly, and ran off

She blinked, then her ears twitched, as he was in mid sentence. ”......what if I were to stay here Payne? wouldn't things become different then?" Payne’s eyes widened, and she stared down to him, since she had been standing up. She stood still. ”You’d...leave your life, become wanted to the soul society..for me?’ Payne questioned, for that very moment Payne was afraid, and in a glimpse he could see it, then it went back to a starch plate on the woman’s face. She stared at him, then she saw him start to reach up, she tensed up but very slowly..

Her eyes followed his hands, as if , she thought if she would look away, she would have been struck down and killed, but her fur perched up, and a lump of air got caught in her throat, she stared at it, then he brought his blade out, and with it was a menacing growl from her...she paused, biting her lip, as he set the blade on his legs. She stared to him, and the blade started to shake slowly.

PostSubject: Re: The Guard Dog   The Guard Dog I_icon_minitimeThu May 27, 2010 12:29 am

Tsuna had closed his eyes as his breathing became slow and steady he began to imagine Jigoku into the world of the living. With a small flash of light from his blade and the sound of soft music in the air she appeared, A short girl looking to be about the age of fourteen or fifteen with long raven black hair hanging past her hips. Her eyes were the color of the sea dark blue with a hint of light in them they were filled with a never ending kindness that easily outweighed even Tsuna's kindness. Her skin was a pale white like Tsuna's and was seemingly unmarked by any kind of flaw or scar in a way her skin was truly flawless, for clothing she wore a peach colored kimono with flowers decorating all around it and a blue sash held the outfit together. She smiled softly at Payne and Tsuna as she appeared with a graceful step onto the ground the aura she gave off was one of peace it seemed everything was lighter as she appeared. Tsuna let out a deep breath and opened his eyes to smile back at Jigoku as she smiled at Payne and himself he noted Payne's reaction and he had heard her answers and her big question he would answer them in due time.

Jigoku looked at Payne now and gave her a warm smile the kind that if a person saw it they wouldn't be able but to help but smile back at her. Jigoku sat next to Tsuna leaning against the cat like hollow as he was, the cat like hollow itself had watched with a curiosity it wondered where this new person had come from and why she was so relaxing to be around. The cat like hollow then felt Jigoku's small hand patting his head but it was much more soothing then when the female named Payne had touched him, it did something that it didn't even know it could do it began to purr softly. But softly to this hollow was not the same to Tsuna and the rest of them the cat like hollow's purr sounded like a car engine as it was revving up to take off.

Tsuna looked to Payne staring into her eyes with a serious conviction in his eyes, but his tone was still soft and kind "I would leave the soul society Payne and become a traitor to my own kind". He stood up and walked over to her "all so you don't have to feel the pain of being alone anymore" he said in a sad tone he knew how much it hurt to be alone. He held out his hand to her "I will stay with you as long as you wish me to Payne and if ever you wish me to leave I shall do so without question" he said it all in that kind tone of his but he was completely serious. Jigoku got up and wrapped her arms around Tsuna from behind poking her head around his body as she could not see over his shoulders even if she were to stand on the tips of her toes. She spoked excitedly "I went over this with big brother here in my mind and I agree Payne we want you to join our family so you don't have to be alone". She said in a happy excited tone smiling happily but then put on a a mock serious face and held up her hand and wagged her index finger back and forth like she was scolding a child. "But if you do join you have to be nice to Mister Mcfluffums" she said in a half serious yet happy tone laughing lightly at her name for the cat like hollow.

Tsuna arched his left eyebrow in a comical fashion as he heard Jigoku call the cat like hollow Mister Mcfluffums he couldn't believe her giving the cat like hollow such a cute name. But he knew it would be something like that she always wanted to name things even when she had no idea what they really were it was rather annoying after a while but he could bear it better then some. The cat like hollow perked up it's ears and stood up stretching out arching it's back as he let his tounge roll out as he yawned lightly, he couldn't understand every word they were saying but he was beginning to understand their speech just by listening. It walked over to Jigoku and licked the hand she had used to waggle at Payne, Jigoku squealed in delight seemingly distracted from Payne and Tsuna now as she wrapped her arms around the hollows neck in a tight hug. Tsuna laughed lightly he couldn't help it here he was looking all cool and serious when Jigoku had to totally ruin the whole mood with her carefree attitude, but he couldn't blame her Jigoku always liked making friends but this was the first time she had ever offered anyone the chance to join their 'family' as they called it. He looked back to Payne happily and held out his hand once more "You don't have to make the decision now Payne but you are always welcome to Join us in our family if you wish I promise you won't ever be lonely with us".

She stared to him. Had he been serious? Had he been playing her a fool. ”all so you don't have to feel the pain of being alone anymore" her ears went back, then she looked away. If she was alone...she would never be betrayed..Not again...she felt her hand slide over her blade, then she looked down towards it..For so long..it had only been her and Miyako...but now some one was willing to give up their own life for her own.

”If I were you; I wouldn’t trust him......If I were you, I’d kill him right now. He trusts you now! Rip out his intestines, you have the claws...you have the power, he is opening up... A voice chuckled insanely at the thought, it ran through her head, and her eyes narrowed. ”buuuut then again, that wouldn’t be as worst what he would do to you; everyone is going to betray you in the end, if you trust no one, then you can’t get hurt, how is he going to stab you in the back, if your facing him?” the voice added in her head. She paused.

Her fingers drummed against the hilt of her blade. She paused, then brought out her blade, dropping it to the ground. In that instant...a beast appeared behind her, it was nearly as big then her; height wise. It was violent looking, but it held the same eyes as his own. One an icy-winter blue, the other as golden as the sun. It had dark fur, that seemed to have long been frozen at end. Muscles pulsed out of each of it’s arms, and it’s shoulders had been pressed up; to make it seem larger then ever. It clawed at the ground, massive knives..oh sorry those are claws. Raking against the ground.

”Well look at this, what a sight! A rat has befriended a cat!” The massive fenris tilted it’s head, it’s ears twitching. ”Listen to this rat,” the wolf began staring down towards Tsuna, ”Deceit is a lovely weapon, and if you lay that weapon upon her...” It gave a wolf like grin, showing all of it’s canines. ”You’ll be doing me a fi-” ”Enough Miyako.” He heard a snarl, which would startle anyone, ruining the mood breaker. The large wolf looked down to it’s mistress, it’s fur poofed up, as if it had a mane, and it growled before laying down behind her.

Payne glanced towards the annoying child. Her tails twitching in annoyance. Then she looked back ignoring the two spirits, and the hollow. She told herself, this wasn’t for her. This was for Prussia, but even then, it made her uneven that the sadness had gained her pity, and she was sick of being alone. Even as a captain she was a stranger to her whole unit. She looked to his hand, then she grabbed his hand in hers. Her hand had been abnormally warm, and her claws lightly touched against his hand, it was ticklish, her claws scratching his hands lightly, not on purpose.

I am doing this for prussai, we need help, we need more fighters. I am doing it for the city, we need people. I am not doing this for my own selfish reasons. I need no one. I need no one. I am no one....right? Payne had been unsure in her mind, but she kept her normal cold, blank face stared at his, her own crimson eyes, had still not looked him directly in the face again.

Behind them, the dark creature, with it’s fur a dark black almost purple, it held a grin, and a look of satisfaction on it’s face. Just as it planned it too end. It’s tail swayed, and even laying down the beast was still larger then the hollow, and Payne, but not by much.

So this is what it’s like. Payne thought quietly to herself. To touch some one, and not kill them She paused, the feeling it was alien to her, as long as she remembered, she never touched some one to befriend or save. Just harm and kill. Did that make her no better then the hollow?

Tsuna had watched her reaction it seemed she was unsure but she was thinking hard about his words he hoped that she would accept itwould make both him and Jigoku happy. He watched as her hand went to the hilt of her blade and yet he did not move his hand his trust in her was that much he was sure she would not cut him or harm him. He knew what was going through her mind if she was alone no one could betray her if she was alone she didn't have toworry about someone close to her getting hurt. While people thought these emotions did more harm then good Tsuna believed that these emotions were the most powerful ones people could have they made them real instead of a hollow existence. He still smiled kindly at Payne she would make her choice given the time to think it over he could tell by the look in her eyes even if she wouldn't look directly at him still he wondered if maybe she was afraid to make contact with his kind eyes.

As she pulled out her blade suddenly even Jigoku and the cat like hollow tensed but Tsuna still held his hand out in that relaxed position trusting her completely. As she summoned the spirit of her Zanapaktou he wondered if this was a sign of trust or if she was showing him her spirit to confirm with it that they weren't going to join with Tsuna. He looked at the beast as it was summoned its fur dark so much that it was almost purple and it's eyes were like his own two different colors. But when Tsuna looked into them he didn't see much it was like looking into darkness this beast was one of the reasons Payne was the way she was now Tsuna thought to himself as it began to speak. But before the beast could speak it's intentions fully Payne snarled visciously telling the beast it was enough and to stop now he noted that the beast did so without question.

He couldn't help but smile more as Payne reached her hand forward and touched his own he knew she would join him and Jigoku now. He could feel her claws lightly scratch his skin but he didn't mind instead of flinching or taking his hand away he wrapped his fingers around her hand lightly and gave her hand a gentle squeeze, it was a message through body language telling her that she could always rely on him and he wouldn't leave her behind no matter what pain was caused. Jigoku watched happily as the two of them made contact and then looked to the beast Payne had summoned, she smiled and then looked at the cat like hollow whispering into it's ears "maybe we should name him Mister Mcfluffums instead". The cat like hollow purred with amusement and nuzzled it's head against Jigoku's side causing her to laugh lightly and hug the hollows neck once again as it continued to purr softly.

Tsuna looked at Payne with nothing but kind and gentle intentions now, but still she had not looked him in the eyes with her own. He continued to hold her hand in his own gently and gave it another light squeeze perhaps he had done something wrong or embarrassed her so she could not look into his eyes he didn't know. "Payne why won't you look me in the eyes?" he asked in that soft melodic tone of his it wasn't angry or worried it was merely a curious question. He knew he could help her in his human life he had gone through the same process and the ones who helped him become the person he was now were his parents without them he would never have become the person he was to this day.

Remembering his human life a memory came back to him, it was when he was but a mere thirteen years old he had just beaten up another child who had tried to befriend him. He wouldn't have done it but he had continued to push and had actually gotten through to Tsuna for a bit, and so he wouldn't be hurt Tsuna beat him and cut all ties with him before the other child could. When asked by his parents why he had done it he told them if he had no one there was nothing to lose and that meant no pain that other people went through. He continued this way for most of his young life it wasn't until he nearly killed someone and realized what he was becoming something with no emotions a beast bent on destroying everything that got close to him that he opened up to his parents asking them to help him. And now was his time to help another Payne was not a lost cause she still had her feelings under that mask he could help her the way his parents helped him.

A snarl shot through the air, and she saw Miyako stand up, threateningly snarling at the cat hollow and the girl. But Payne had not been a fool; she knew that the beast would do nothing, unless she had commanded it. Well besides threaten dangerous, painful deaths. As if on cue ”You call me that pathetic child’s name..I will be sure to pull out your intestines, hang you with them, by the wrist, then cover you in cat nip so you can be the cats chew; and after it killed you..” the wolf smirked, well it appeared so, that is what it did. It’s face crunching up, contorting into a deviant smirk. ”I hear cat is good...this time of the year” The wolf, spoke, stepping towards the two, in an attempt to lurch over them.

She glanced annoyed at Miyako. He seemed to pay no heed, lurching over his new...’pals’.

Payne glanced to him, and her ears twitched as he asked her this, as she hugged herself. ”The moon will be out soon.” she spoke staring up to the sky. She spoke as if she had been sad. ”Even here..the moon can’t shine her brightest...she can’t be the lotus flower in the pond.” she spoke softly; of course this had a meaning. Buddhist and Hinduist had a saying about the lotus flower, and they believed everyone once in one of their life times, were a lotus flower. Something so beautiful that comes from a pond, which is murky and disgusting.

She paused, then picked up her blade, lazily with one hand. ”Come on. You can watch over with me.” she spoke as she began to walk off. She glanced back, expecting him to follow. She stopped at the wall, to wait for him, Miyako had followed, but stopped half way there, so they knew where they were going, even though it was not even thirty feet away. Miyako liked being a jerk.

The cat like hollow tensed staring at Miyako it might not have known every word the beast said but it understood it was not happy with them. Jigoku on the other hand scrunched her eyes together and stuck out her tounge "when you stop being so mean maybe we won't use such childish names" she said in a smart tone. The cat like hollow purred rubbing his head against Jigoku once more she just smiled and nuzzled her head against it as Miyako approached them. Tsuna hadn't said a word to Miyako he didn't need to he should know that while Jigoku held a sweet and innocent presentation she was still a Zanpaktou spirit and none of them should be taken lightly. He also knew that if Miyako tried to hurt her he would learn why Jigoku's name meant hell when she was angry it was best to take cover.

His attention turned back to back to Payne now as she glanced at him and her ears twitched she still hadn't looked him in the eyes he thought to himself. He listened to her speak about the moon and looked to the sky himself the moon was always beautiful but what she said was true it was not easily seen here which disappointed him a bit. As she began to walk away he grabbed his blade and sheathed it behind his back as always, and followed her as he passed Miyako he winked at him playfully. Jigoku and the cat like hollow however did not follow they stayed where they were watching the two of them calmly as they leaned against one another, one hummed a song softly while the other listened and purred. Tsuna caught up with her at the wall and smiled at her "did you often watch the moon when you were alone Payne?" he asked in a slightly quieted tone as he didn't want to make it seem like his question was so callous.

She paused then stared up to the sky, her eyes glancing towards him, then she paused, and stood against the wall. She paused, and then glanced down, Miyako had been licking his lips staring at the cat hollow now, his tail swaying. She brought her blade to Miyako, and he paused, before turning his head, then disappearing slowly soon it was only a grin, and it snapped towards Jigoku and the cat, before disappearing with a pop!

She then looked to him. Then he seemed to fade away, as she went back into her thoughts, here eyes fogging over.

”We attack at dawn.” a cold voice echoed, the moon was out, causing the fog to glow. “But! Payne we just attacked a village yesterday, the villagers at this one will be ready!” a man with short spikey hair spoke in shock. “Tell the others.” She ordered, the pushed past him and the group. “I am nothing like you guys..” She growled before walking away. She jumped up on her normal waiting post, a lare dead tree, sitting on it. She stared up into the sky the moon had been orange. She paused, then held her hand up to the sky, as if to grab it. One treasure she’d found, but could never grasp. Her hands opened up, then fell on her face.

She looked to the sky, then she looked to him, her nose twitching. ”I don’t like looking in your eyes. Because your kindness is a fire that i have yet to felt. I don’t like it.” She spoke, and with that, she jumped up, landing on the head of the fence. She beckoned him, before running off to gate two.

(fin=cont at gate two?XD

Tsuna looked at her calmly now as she seemed to be deep into her own thoughts, he wondered whats he was thinking of maybe her past or if she could really trust him. Jigoku and the cat like hollow stood up and watched as the beast called Miyako disappeared with a pop, Jigoku of course was not surprised but the cat like hollow was wondering what had just happened. Tsuna held out his left hand which held his blade and pointed it at Jigoku the cat like hollow seeing this tensed wondering what the male was doing pointing that blade at her. He winked at Jigoku and she disappeared in a small flash of light "don't worry she'll be back" he said softly to the cat like hollow with a sincere tone. The cat like hollow nodded at him and stood up slowly stretching out tiny cracks could be heard as it stretched long and hard in a way it was still just like a cat in a lot of ways.

As the cat like hollow stood Tsuna montioned for it to follow them, as he leaped up after Payne to follow her to wherever she was going to lead them. He smiled as he followed her "you'll have to look me in the eyes one day Payne so you can feel the warmth of kindness" he said so softly one would think it was merely the sound of the wind as they left the gate Payne had been guarding. The cat like hollow not wanting to be left behind followed at a quick pace not quite keeping up with them but it wasn't going to be left behind either.
