Shizuo wears the normal shinigami uniform apart from the fact that he wears an extra orange Obi sash, which is used to hold his Zanpakuto, which is kept behind Shizuo's lower back at an angle so the hilt is pointing upwards slightly to Shizuo's left. He also wears a pair of orange fingerless gloves.

Personality: Shizuo is outspoken and open to everyone he meets. He’ll only reserve judgement if commanded or if he can’t afford to. He treats everybody in the Gotei 13 indiscriminately apart from the captains which he shows the proper respect. He likes a good joke with friends and even tries to make pleasant conversation with his captain. He will often visit the 11th squad for sparring practice.
However there is a serious side to him. He greatly dislikes arrancar and doesn’t show them no mercy. Same with Rouge shinigami, he hates betrayal of the Gotei 13 and he regard rouges as dirt no matter how powerful they are.

Bio: Shizuo was born into a poor family which scrapped a living. He was the oldest of three. Anyone who knew a member of their family would always say that it was a crime that such good people had to live in such poverty. However their kindness never faltered. Shizuo was the same and became a popular student at his school. Life looked like it could only get better for Shizuo, but when he newest born brother died due to lack of food, the family seemed to become torn and distant from him. Even though they never had much, they had never really lost much either, especially a member. His mother was the worst hit, she never regained her smile. After this the little money that was coming in had stopped, his father had lost his job. As a final measure, believing that without Shizuo the money would go further, he left home. The night he chose to leave wasn’t the best of nights, the rain was heavy and thunder could be heard. Shizuo made it a couple of streets and decided to take a shortcut through the woods, believing that it took him down a route past the main road. Unfortunately he got lost in the woods and decided to run to the closest exit he ran in the darkness until he unknowingly stepped out onto the road. After this he lived for a few seconds, before being hit by an oncoming car.

Once his soul reaches the soul society, he found that his hunger from the new world had come with him. So he kept eating and eating although the weight never come one. A shinigami passing buy noticed the amount of apples he was eat one day and recognised the sign of high spiritual pressure. He persuaded him to join the Shinigami academy. From there he trained as a shinigami, an above average student who was expected to go a long way. He was quickly taken into squad 5. He changed twice again before finally finding a suitable Squad. From Squad 5 he moved to squad 11, where he spent alot of time. He then moved to squad 6 for a short while, before finishing in Squad 1. Throughout his time, he continued to get stronger and stronger.
