Tatsuya continued to wander among the dead of the wasteland. Fierce winds raged and gust of sands tried to impede his weary march. Tatsuya covered his eyes, hoping to shield them from sand and their grating affects. His wounds had started to open slowly while he had been walking. Pain was shooting through his body with each step but he pressed on. He had no destination and no idea of where he was at currently, but none of that mattered. If he wanted to live, he had to keep walking, if he wanted to die...well from the way things were looking even if he continued walking he'd eventually perish. The only thing keeping him going were the thoughts of his comrades, all brutally slaughtered before his eyes. He still couldn't wrap his head around the circumstances. They had more than filled their quota of souls, why where they attacked? It didn't make any sense. All he could think about was getting revenge on the hollow that had done this. The hollow he had slaved for night and day to come back and do this. Hatred and Rage were the only emotions he felt at this time. Pain was the least of his worries. Though, it should have been. Had he been in a clear state of mind, he would have noticed his body beginning to fail him. The adrenaline he had been running on was dying down, and his blood loss, and exhaustion were catching up with him. The world around him began to feel as if someone had walked up to a globe and began to spin it around as fast as they could. He couldn't keep his footing anymore as his legs began to give out from under him. Tatsuya then passed out, falling forward face down into the sand.

"Hrmm...". Tatsuya slowly opened his eyes, turning his head so that the left side of his face was now pressed against the sand. He let out a few more groans before attempting to pick himself up. He had to be glad that he was even able to open his eyes after passing out in such a place. It took him a couple of minutes, be he was finally able to pick his weary self up off of the desert floor. He looked down and began to examine himself. He was glad to see the wound at his chest. Him falling into the sand the way that he was able to cause the sand to press into his wound. While this particularly didn't feel too pleasant, it was able to stop most of his bleeding. He also had another reason to be thankful. It was now getting late, he had been able to "rest' through the hottest part of the day in the desert and it was now becoming cooler. Tatsuya smiled, but then worry soon took over. If he hottest part of the day was now over there were things in the desert that looked forward to this time. Tatsuya had to hurry. He began to pick up his already extremely slow pace, though it only brought him up to a very slow pace.

Tatsuya continued to walk for what seemed days when in actuality only hours had passed. The desert was becoming colder. He pressed on before hearing the sound of movement behind him. He had been feeling a presence behind him for a while now, but he decided to try and ignore it for as long as possible. He knew he was in no shape to defend himself, and whatever it was following him knew it as well. Hopefully, he could make it "somewhere" before this thing decided to act. Tatsuya continued to move as if this presence didn't concern him, that is, until he felt the presence of another following him as well. It was faint, but Tatsuya knew who they were. The same hollow that had massacred his group earlier had now found him. Tatsuya smirked. It had been a long run, but it seemed that it was time for the show to end. Tatsuya slowly turned himself around to be greeted by four hollow, each dribbling saliva awaiting the chance to kill their next meal. Tatsuya moved his free hand over his blade's handle and unsheathed it. The hollow reacting instinvely to this lashed forward, dashing towards Tatsuya. Tatsuya raised his blade and stood his ground. It was now time for the grand finale. He'd die like a man standing on his own two feet, no longer would he be a pawn for creatures.

He still couldn't believe it, how in the world had they managed to misplace William in the middle of bloody desert of all things? Considering how much open terrain was out here the line of sight was fairly impressive, which meant that losing someone who had been standing next to you moments before should have been impossible. Yet somehow William had managed to lose his entire security detail, and after going through the trouble of requesting them in the first place. It wasn't like he didn't trust the ex-captain to be able to take care of himself. If he was just going to run around on his own out here why had he even bothered asking Chevalier and the others to come along with him in the first place? Now he'd forced his vice-commander to take what few forces he had out here in the Wastelands, and scatter them about in semi-vain effort to track down their wayward leader instead of attending to whatever duties they'd been assigned to in the first place.

Rolling his eyes in frustration as he crested yet another sand-dune, he paused and took a moment to observe the sight before him at the dune's base. It seemed like someone had ended up on the wrong side of a Hollow ambush, and judging from his stance and appearance it didn't look like he was going to be able to hold his own against the quartet for very long. As if sensing that fact one of the Hollows began charging towards the injured man with blood in it's eyes. Quickly gauging the distance between the two , Chevalier launched himself forward with a quick shunpo and silently landed in the path of the charging Hollow. Pulling his zanpakutou from it's place at his side he thrust the base of his saya forward, catching the Hollow in the eye hole of it's mask. As the creature came to an abrupt halt, screaming in agony, he grabbed the hilt of his weapon and yanked it from it's sheath in a blinding display of speed. Twisting on his heel and coming around in a full circle, the hood he'd made using his scarf falling away in the process, he used the full force of his spin to split the creature in half from it's right hip up to it's left shoulder.

Watching the other three Hollows through the bloody mist created by their fallen comrade he said, “Four on one? Since when did you lot begin hunting in packs?” He then addressed the injured man behind him, still keeping his gaze locked on the Hollows as he brought his spiritual pressure up slightly, “You alright?”

William had just finished talking to Kyoko, when his two Rogues came to find him. They told William Chev had gone ahead, after he had felt a shinigami's pressure. It didn't really bother William seeing how he knew Chev could take care of himself without William being there. Though he would most likely want his help, just to end things quickly and effectively without taking to much time off their 'busy' schedual. Busy that was a good way of looking at it, when the truth was they had all the time in the world since nothing was happening on any of the fronts. William then heard how Chev was also engaging in combat with four hollows. William shook his head, while scratching the back of his head. "What did that shini do to get attacked by four?..." William thought as he threw his head back up to face his two rogues. "Alright you lot, lets get going." William continued after waving his hand, "Triangle formation now." William ordered. Within seconds the three men were now in range to see the four hollows, and two Shinigami; one being Chev.

"Blades ready, and out." William ordered still going at full speed towards the hollows. The three picked their targets. William smiled as he drew his Zanpakuto out. Within a second William Shunpo'd behind the middle hollow. William quickly thrusted his blade into the hollow then flipped over top landing infront of the hollow. His blade followed. The split in half not knowing what had just hit it. The other three were quickly, and suddenly killed off by the other two rogues. "Damn it Chev, you always get yourself into these messes." William joked as he patted him on the shoulder. A smile grew across his face showing Chev he was joking.

William then looked at the wounded man, who had been ambushed by the hollows. William walked up infront of the man, and then extended his hand to help the man up. "Here let me help you up man." William offered with his smile still across his face.

It had seemed the end had finally come. It's funny the way that ones world can be flipped on it's head in what can feel like only a matter of moments. One second you can feel that all and everything is in order and life is as it should be, only to have to face the revelation that all that you've known was a complete and utter lie. The same beings that you trusted and felt had your best interest at heart turning on you at the blink of an eye, maybe even faster.

Tatsuya held his blade out towards his attackers, but something withheld him from going on the offensive. This could have been attributed to his grave injuries, which did play a major part in his defensive posture, but more than anything it was the thoughts that ran through his mind. He started to feel like fighting this fate was pointless. Even if he were to survive and kill these hollow that threatened his life, where would he go? His life in District 3 was now over and it had been the only place he had ever known. Would he forever be condemned to roam this wasteland? He had been roaming this place for only hours and it had been an excruciating hell, he couldn't imagine having to live out the remainder of his life in this place. Maybe...maybe death wouldn't be such a bad option. His body already felt as if he would soon be knocking on Death's door. His legs felt extremely weak, his breaths were heavy and panted, and his arms felt as if they were being chained down. Tatsuya sighed a bit before lightly laughing to himself. Though it would have been admirable to fight till' his last breath, he wasn't a big fan of putting in extra work in order to come to the same conclusion. There was no way he'd be able to walk from this alive, and fighting would just be prolonging the inevitable. Slowly, Tatsuya lowered his blade from the oncoming Hollow, closing his eyes and welcoming the serrated claws that made their way to his neck.

Before the claws of his assailant made their way to him, Tatsuya heard a quick puncturing sound, followed by one of the most horrific screams he had ever heard. He slowly opened his eyes to be greeted by a crimson mist and the sight of a most peculiar man. Furry ears and a tail? What the hell was going on? Tatsuya began to blink a couple of times before pinching himself, making sure that he wasn't hallucinating from the blood loss, or if he had actually been killed in the time his eyes had been closed and was now having an "After-Death Experience", which he highly doubted even existed. The man began to antagonize the remaining hollows a bit before addressing him. Tatsuya was still a bit in shock. Only being moments away from death only to be dramatically saved from a guy with a tail would do that to most anyone, and if it didn't they probably had some other deep-seated problems they needed to address. Tatsuya calmed himself down a bit to reply to the man before he felt another spiritual force making their way towards the both of them. In almost less than the second that he felt them coming. There were three of them and they rushed in, quickly dispatching of the three other remaining hollows, and quite cinematically to boot. The blonde haired man walked over to tailed-man and addressed him as Chev, speaking to him about "Always getting into messes" but he said it in a tone that showed he was joking with him. It seemed these four men had all came here together. The blonde man then walked up to Tatsuya, extending his hand to help him up. Tatsuya stared at him for a moment before he started to chuckle. This chuckle soon evolved into a laugh, a laugh that could be seen to be quite insane given the serious circumstances under which it was occurring. So many things had occurred in such a short span of time, this span of time turning Tatsuya's entire world topsy-turvy. To top all of this off, he had now been rescued by those of a race he had, until recently, helped to oppress in District 3. His laugh continued as he thought of this, but sometimes it was better to laugh to keep yourself from crying.

Figures... of course William would pick this particular moment to make his “grand” reappearance, acting as if nothing had happened as he and the other two Rogues quickly dispatched the three remaining Hollows. In all honesty he really shouldn't have been surprised, his friend did have a natural ability for sniffing out trouble after all and it wasn't like there were many other spirit signatures out here to distract him from Chevalier's location.

Clearing the blood from his blade with a quick flick of his wrist he returned the weapon to it's sheath, ignoring Shinoyuki's exasperated sigh as his friend approached. “Getting into messes is your department, Sessha specializes in getting others out of them in one piece,” he responded with a smirk of his own.

Following the still grinning William over to the other man, he made a couple of quick gestures to their escort to secure the area while he took a moment to survey their rescuee's injuries. They seemed to look worse then they truly were, but if left untreated then he would most surely not make it out of this desert alive.

Kneeling down next to the man he began healing his wounds by using the Keikatsu and said, “Hold still, this should only take a moment.”

William looked at the wounded man laying on the ground for a bit. He wasn't surprised to hear the man laugh. To William that was a good sign. It meant this man wasn't going to die. He'd live, and most likely fight another day. That was all William wanted to know, and make sure anyone had. He would want no man or woman dying while he was in the area, not as long as he still drew breath from his lips.

As the man laying on the ground laughed He retracted his hand as he saw Chev move up to heal the man. William laughed as he heard Chev's reply to what he had said earlier. "Well I can't help getting into trouble... its attracted to me, as I was to Enrya once." William said joking. He lied though he still was attracted to Enrya, and he knew Chev knew. He was after all the only man within Prussia who he trusted. He was also the only one who could really heal a man.

William watched as Chev got underway, then looked up to see if anything was coming. Nothing could be seen or felt. That was good, so long as they got out of here in time. William than looked at the two rogues standing behind him, waiting for something to do. "Once Chev is done healing this man you two have to help lift him so we can get out of here." William ordered as he patted Chev on the shoulder.

Blood

She was miles away from it, but the scent attracted and disgusted. Why would some one be out here? This far? The figure walked amongst the horizon. It seemed to stick out so easily, the dark figure, walking on the ground, more like strolling. The fierce winds, nipping at her ears and clothings. Her ears twitching, then moving flat against her head, barely noticeable that she had wolf ears sticking out of her head, since they were the same achromatic tone as her hair. Her tails curled up between her legs, as she walked, the winds didn’t really affect her bare legs, not at all, they weren’t as sensitive as her ears and tails were. Besides, she could get sand in her ears and have an ear infection from hell.

No thanks buddy, this wolf would pass.

She walked towards the scent, she wanted to walk the opposite direction of it, oh how she wanted too, her crimson eyes slowly closed, as she buried her face within her scarlet scarf; well it was manly her nose down. She paused and stopped, the scent of two people filling her nose. One was the distinctive scent of cat...the other...she couldn’t quiet place. Then, her eyes shot open, narrowed into small red orbs. Blood. Why hadn’t she had smelled the other scents? More then likely because her mind narrowed down to the blood, the wind seemed to stop, as she was only ten feet away from the group.

A cat demon? A man, she looked towards the ground. Her nose twitching below her scarf. He was wounded badly, but the neko had been healing him.

The group would have noticed her reitsu long before she came, they shouldn’t look up, the wolf girl was small, her ears slowly stuck up from her head, they seemed to give her a few inches, she reached her hands, which seemed to be hovering over two blades. She stared at the group, her aura gave off a non frightening one, but by the looks of her,(mainly her blood colored eyes) she was quiet frightful. She seemed to be in a modified shinigami uniform, with golden shackles tied to her wrist, she stared at them, waiting for the first move, peaceful or opposing.

If memory served the shinigami correctly, they would know her from some where...for those of a very well memory. She was Payne Ookami, she had long left the soul society, before the attack, most thought she knew about it and left because she didn’t wish to die, or some would have thought she worked with the arrancar leader, but she did not. Nor did she care if they thought that.

Tatsuya watched as the purple haired man known as "Chev" made his way towards him. He had another brief exchange with the blonde haired man once more and then kneeled down next to him. Tatsuya watched him closely, but decided to trust him. After all, these two had just saved his life, what would their purpose be for trying to harm him now. “Hold still, this should only take a moment.”. As he said this, Chev began to use some sort of technique, and from the way that the pain of his wounds started to dull, Tatsuya began to assume that it was obviously some form of healing. As Chev continued on with the healing the blonde haired one began to speak to his underlings, giving them orders to help him up so they could get out of here. Tatsuya was all good for leaving this barren wasteland, but blindly following strangers wasn't something he was fond of doing. Though in his condition disputing this wasn't really the wisest of decisions. Asking a few questions and learning about this group of shinigami was the wiser of the options at his disposal.

Tatsuya moved a bit forward in his seated position, but not too much to disturb Chev from his healing. He was going to motion himself to ask a few questions of his mysterious saviors, when he could feel the mysterious reiatsu of another. Tatsuya turned his head towards a high dune of sand, over which no one could be seen so far. Whoever this person was, they made no effort whatsoever to hide their presence. He watched the dune and lo and behold a small figure made its way towards them. She had the same kind of animal like ears that Chev had. Tatsuya thought about this for a second and automatically assumed that this woman was with this group of shinigami. As she arrived in front of them she stared at them, her hands hovering over two blades. She wasn't giving off an intent to cause harm, but she also seemed distant, as if waiting for a reaction. He stared back at her for a while, waiting for her to say something until waiting became tiresome. Her attitude seemed to suspicious and his thoughts of her affiliation with them began to waiver, but there was nothing wrong with being on the safe side of things. "So, you're with these guys, huh?"

Chevalier shook his head and William's response and focused on his kido, it wasn't his best skill so he had do be very careful not to lose his concentration lest he make this poor man's situation worse somehow. This did not prevent him from noticing the presence of yet another approaching their little get together however, a shinigami most likely judging from the signature. Wondering what someone with that much power was doing wandering out here in the Wastelands, and without suppressing her reiatsu no less, he chanced a quick look over at the new comer and felt his eyes widen in surprise. Those ears, that tail, so much like his yet so different. There was only one other shinigami like with those traits that he was aware of and that was the former commander of the sixth division, Captain Payne Ookami.

He couldn't afford to let this revelation to distract him at the moment though, so setting those thoughts aside for the moment he turned back to the task at hand and redoubled his efforts to finish healing his patient. With this many powerful beings gathered in one place, especially with one of them not bothering to suppress her signature, it wasn't going to be very long before they attracted some unwanted attention and he wanted to be sure that everyone was as able-bodied as possible when that attention arrived.

William smiled as Chev shook his head, and the man sat up. It was a good thing to see. So long as he could sit he was fine, and would most likely be well enough to walk on his own feet within a hour or so. Well that was William's guess. He didn't really make much of it, and nor did he want to since it was all up to what this man wanted. If he wanted his men to carry him all the way to safety then he'd allow that, if not even better. I would mean this man is strong, and would fit into Prussia perfectly. Well thats what he hoped this man would. He needed good men, and woman for leaders. So far it was just him and Chev against all, and leading a massive sized army not even Sin would know about. Well most likely not, William just knew, Sin knew. Sin was like his father after all.

Then William felt a strange yet fimilar reiatsu. William bit his bottom lip, as the figure came into view. "Aw shit... a Captain... here?" William thought as he shook his head. William then looked back up at the woman. He knew her, it was Payne Ookami, one of the few Captain's in SS that was to be feared much like himself, Enrya, and Armond. They were 'supposed' to be the four greatest captains during the time before the attack. William shook his head once more before hearing Tatsu's question pointed towards Payne. "No, no shes not..." William answered for her. "It's been awhile Payne, how have you been?" William asked.

William then began to think. Since this wounded Shinigami hadn't known about Payne that must have meant she left SS as well. William smiled, then turned to face the wounded shinigami. "Mr. wounded, I forgot to tell you were we are taking you, its far from SS, and Italy. We are headed for New Prussia the home of the Rogues." William told the wounded man. "I'm also sorry for calling you Mr. Wounded, but since I haven't been given a name as of yet it was the only one I could think of." William explained as he shrugged. William then refocused on Payne. "What about you Payne? Seeing as how this wounded shinigami doesn't know you that means you've gone rogue. Will you come with us?" William asked extending his right hand.

William hadn't heard the story about Payne leaving before the attack, he believed she was still within the ranks. As well as helping his division fight off Sin's forces.

She stood there, and the familiar scent hit her nose. Well look who it was? Her ears perked up, at his voice, and her hands went to her sides. As she stood there, her crimson eyes staring at him. She remembered each and every important scent. She glanced towards the cat and the wounded, and her tails perked up, swaying slowly, as sign of calmness upon the rather short woman, as she stared at them, She wouldn’t have ever imagined that she would see him again, she didn’t know..what was his name..William Siegrfried that well, he was a fairly friendly companion and partner when she was with the SS she knew that much.

Her ears twitched as the wounded man asked her a question, she
tugged her scarf down to speak, but Will had gotten to it first. She pursed her lip, then sighed softly. It had been a while, how many years? How many centuries if that? “Well, I suppose you are correct Will, I figured you would have been with the SS.” She spoke, and walked forward, her very aura seemed calm, yet it seemed at the same time frightening, she walked until she was at least five feet if not closer from them.

She saw William turn his attention to the wounded shinigami. She glanced down, which seemingly ever frozen eyes, and she sighed listening to what Will had to say, her ears twitched at each word. She thought about it, and then she glanced back. She had always liked to be alone, for solitude...but at a time like this, no one could afford to be alone, this shinigami was a good example of it. She frowned, and then looked towards William, before nodding her head to him, her taking a few steps towards them and grabbing William’s hand with her own.. “You must tell me what you know and what you’ve been up too, and I will tell you what I have been up to, William. Although it’s not really much.” Her voice had been low, and it seemed that she hadn’t spoken enough.

Glancing around, she would expect that Enrya to be around, the one that William always shadowed, like a dog on a leash. She often called him “shadow” but it was an inside joke within her division, she glanced around but sensed, nor smelled no one. She returned her attention to the cat an man. “How rude of me: I am Payne Ookami, former leader of the sixth division.” She spoke, before bowing in respect. “ You shouldn’t speak much, also Cat.....you should hurry, in these conditions infection could grow, I would rather not want to smell the scent of rot.” She spoke to the wounded man and cat(She had previously forgotten the cat's name, even though it had been bothering herself, to forget someone with such similarities of herself), then blinked.

“Sorry.” She spoke her red eyes averting to the side, as her hair fell in her face. She hadn’t meant to be...some people called it rude, but it was her persona.

Tatsuya waited for the woman to answer his question and noticed Chev take a glance at her, his eyes becoming wide. Then he heard the blonde man answer his question in the stead of the woman, informing him that she indeed wasn't apart of their merry band of travelers. Also revealing another tidbit of information about her when he greeted her with the name, "Payne". Tatsuya looked at them both questioningly. It seemed that these two knew each other, and even Chev knew Payne, but for some reason they weren't out here together. Tatsuya began to wonder if this reunion would turn into a violent one, one that he had no parts in whatsoever.

The blonde man then turned to Tatsuya, addressing him as "Mr.Wounded". Tatsuya wasn't sure if he should have felt insulted or if the confusion given to him from the mans words should have taken precedence. SS? Italy? New Prussia? Rouges? What the hell was the guy talking about? These questions circulated through his mind, but obviously enough they all seemed to think he was affiliated in some way or another with them. He decided to play along and nod his head, acting as if all was understood. Being one to one up himself, he decided to take this one step further and jump in a bit on the conversation. "Yea...I hear New Prussia is nice this time of year..." It wasn't a very well thought out response, but hey, if it worked it worked. The blonde man then did something weird. He began to apologize for his use of "Mr.Wounded" to refer to him. Tatsuya was a bit confused, he had never heard someone say something and then apologize for it in their next sentence. "Umm...it's fine...the name is Tatsuya."

As he told him this, Payne began to speak to the blond haired man. She refered to him with the name "Will". She also spoke of this "SS" place once again. Whereever this place was, Tatsuya began to get a sense that it had to be important. A thought then came to him. He remembered will talking about Rouges, could this have been the place that they abandoned? If so, this could have been the place that Shinigami originated from. He'd have to entertain these thoughts later though, right now was the prime moment for some more eavesdropping. Though it had seemed this time had passed and she was now addressing both he and Chev, introducing herself as Payne Ookami, the former leader of something or another. She bowed respectfully and then disrespectfully likened his scent to rot...Tatsuya sighed a bit, what was up with the insults today? Before Tatsuya could come back with a joke that would surely have put on her on the brink of depression, she apologized. Tatsuya was now disappointed. His joke was on the tip of his tongue and he couldn't use it now or he'd just look like a douche. He sighed once more, "...No problem..."

Cat? That was a new one, usually those who chose to tease him about his... deformity were able to come up with something a bit more original then that. It was of little consequence at the moment however as he had much more pressing concerns then being called by the wrong name. Thankfully his patient was responding well to treatment so they should be able to clear out of this region quickly and thus theoretically avoid further entanglements with the local riff-raff.

Smiling slightly in appreciation of a job well done as the last of Tatsuya's wounds closed, he finished what he was doing and stood up. Dusting the sand from the knees of his hakama he said, “It should be safe for you to move now. Sessha wasn't able to bring you back up to 100% in the amount of time we have available but you should be able to make it safely to wherever we're going next with little trouble. Assuming of course we don't have to do a lot of heavy fighting along the way.” He then turned around to face Payne and bowed slightly in both acknowledgment and greeting, “It is good to see you again Ookami-dono.”

William smiled it looked like he had two new members for Prussia. This was something he was really hoping for. Well he wasn't expecting to meet the captain of 6th division here. Though he was pretty sure he'd find a shinigami out in the middle of the wastes. Thats how he found the two rogues standing behind him. The two looked like they were quite happy to know that they might get another officer who knew what they were doing. They didn't show this however but William knew. It was to be expected seeing as how they didn't like the fact William and Chevalier were the ones always going out risking their lives, without much help other than a few low level rogues.

William shook Payne's hand while listening to what she wanted. "Well to tell the truth, I have nothing really to tell you other than the fact me, Chevalier, and a few members from our divisions started up Prussia. We've grown in size and are now almost near the size Germany once was in WW1." William told Payne. He knew Tatsuya could hear him. It was good, he was going to have to tell him anyways since this man was going to joining the Rogues. Well if he will. Just William found it odd. This man didn't know about Soul Society. Was it because it was destroyed, and they just kept the name Egypt for the new one. William just shook the thoughts from his head, and gazed at Tatsuya.

"Well Tatsuya, we're headed for Prussia. I'll inform you on what we are, and who we are when we get there." William then turned to Payne and continued, "That goes for you as well Payne. I can't quite tell you everything out here in the wastes seeing as how hollows enjoy hunting us." William finished as he turned around to face the two rogues. "Alright you two be ready to move out. We have to make it to Prussia within a few hours." William told the two. He knew the other two payne, and Tatsuya heard, and would follow. Chev wouldn't need to be told, a simple pat to on the shoulder would tell him everything.

Tatsuya nodded to Chev as he informed him that the magical medical treatment he had gone through was now finished. He didn't feel that he was 100%, but he felt at least three times better than he did before the treatment had begun. "Thanks..." Though these people had saved his life, he still wasn't too sure about them. They spoke on so many topics that he had never heard of. He began to feel as if he had to go with these people. They obviously held information and he'd have to siphon it. This world was new to him, and knowing nothing about it would obviously be fatal. William began to speak again about Prussia and their plan to head there again within a few hours time. Tatsuya nodded and slowly stood, a throbbing pain coming from his chest but it was nothing compared to before. "I'm ready when you are..."

Keeping an eye on Tatsuya as he stood he said, "Good, we should move on then before someone notices that those friends of yours are missing. Don't hesitate to let This One know if your condition worsens while we're on the move so we can stop and take a moment to deal with it. You probably shouldn't be moving all that quickly just yet, but under the circumstances we don't really have much of a choice." Eying him for a moment, as if trying to gauge his skill at a glance he continued, "How skilled are you in the hohō techniques, specifically flash step?"

William looked around a bit. He wanted to make sure nothing was near them. He really didn't like spies, or Hollows. Once William was sure nothing was around he heard Tatsuya, and Panye say they were ready to go. William knew Chev was since he just asked Tatsuya if he could use flash step. It was a move the Rogues were famous for, in a way. After all the Rogues weren't in a combat role with anything. They were just trying to help people who were lost or abandoned.

William nodded his head then waved his hand, telling his two other rogues it was time to go. William then looked at Chev. "Alright then we'll head out now. It should only take us a mere few hours to get to Prussia." William told Tatsuya. Once he was done he gave a nod to Chev then used his flash step.

Tatsuya hadn't replied to his question, which could mean several things but now wasn't the time to go down that list. He was just going to have to go along with William for the moment and see how things played out. Hesitating just long enough for the others to get under way he pushed himself off into a flash step, using only about half his normal speed at first just in case their newest recruit was either unable to keep up or still too injured to keep pace with the others. Somehow he doubted that William had thought of that when he left so it was left to him to pick up the slack as usual.

As Tatsuya listened to Chev begin to speak once again, he started to use phrases that , once again, Tatsuya had no idea about. Trying to use his context clues to the best of his ability he assumed that whatever he was talking about had something to do with a transportation technique. Though from the name "Flash Step", it sounded all too obvious. Tatsuya decided that right about now he might need to come clean about who he was and where he came from, though acting as if he was one of them may have gotten him more information. If he didn't know what they were talking about, especially on a technical level, his facade would quickly be seen through. Tatsuya opened his mouth to reply to Chev, only to be interrupted by William's quick interjection followed by him disappearing in blindingly fast movement. Chev then quickly followed suit, disappearing with a cloud of sand bursting up behind him. Tatsuya's jaw dropped as he saw this. He couldn't believe it...how the hell had they learned his technique?! Tatsuya had been the only shinigami he knew of that could use this move, how could all of these people know it as well?

Tatsuya had created it out of necessity. When rounding up humans to be taken to the hollows to be devoured, you always had some in the crowd that thought this wasn't an all too "pleasant" way to die. So you had the occasional group of runners that would try and make their way out. Now, when dealing with large groups of humans they weren't always the type to make it easy, they'd often split up. Having to catch up to ten humans by yourself was difficult work, especially when you had to run after all of them. With this problem in mind, Tatsuya started to experiment with his reiatsu, finding that he was able to concentrate it at the soles of his feet, helping him to move more rapidly. Tatsuya continued to stare, a bit confused as to what he was seeing. Was this the "flash step" Chev had just asked him about? If this was true, and all other shinigami were capable of this, what else were they capable of? Tatsuya shook his head at this revelation. Now more than ever he was determined to find the answers to his questions. In the blink of an eye, a cloud of sand burst upwards, Tatsuya quickly following behind William and Chev.
