What to do?

William was sitting near in front of his fire place, drinking a glass of tea. He was in a rather good mood, more than anything else, since he hadn't heard word of any hollow advances or shinigami advances. All in all it was quiet, nice, and peaceful. It was the way he liked it. For now, but he'd want a fight sooner or later, just not here. He'd rather fight somewhere else nowhere near Prussia. He knew Sin wouldn't send any attacks here since he sent people here, for crimes against his kind. Kyle was more than happy to welcome that person in their door, considering they found them or the rogues found them. It was all based on whether or not they were also trust worthy or not, and if they could live under William and the counsels rule. Just like everyone else in the city, and areas. The Rogue army was more than loyal to William, and the counsel. Just more so to William, since he had found this land for them, and had made it into the perfect place to be. Not to hot, and not to cold kind of place. They could also farm, and live off the land which made things that much better for him, and the rogues.

William was wearing his standard clothing, which was just a pair of white cargo pants, a white t-shirt, and a black hoody. It all fitted him perfectly. They were also quite nice to wear, and made him feel good. William's blonde hair was kept messy yet it looked as if it were straightened rather than messy. That was always something William thought of as odd, but he just shrugged it off. He didn't need to worry about such things now. Nor did he want to worry about it. It was just his hair after all. William was also wearing a pair of DC's which fit him perfectly. The one thing though he cherished the most out of everything he was wearing was Enrya's necklace, which she had given to him before the final battle for SS, and before he 'died', or rather his old self did.

William shook his head he missed Enrya, but was still upset at the fact she left him, and his men for dead. God what he wouldn't give to kiss her again. There was still a part of him that wanted to touch and hold her again. No he couldn't, he shouldn't think about these things. William shook his head one last time before kissing the necklace, and falling back against the chair he was sitting on. Kyle looked around the throne room. It was massive, that was for sure. William smiled as he returned his gaze back on the fire in front of him.

The warming rays of the mid-morning sun streamed into the office through a trio of large tempered glass windows as the luxuriously furnished room's lone occupant sat perched on the sill of the central aperture looking out over the lands below. Before the fall of the Seireitei Chevalier had never even dreamed about a place like this, let alone thought he'd ever end up living in one. Even now he found that he wasn't fully adjusted to the differences in style and architecture, such as the large window in which he now sat or the heavy stone walls that surrounded him, which were the founding principles of the structure that he and so many others now called home. Having lived in an oriental themed society for as long as he could remember, the fact that he was experiencing a degree of culture shock wasn't surprising, but he'd thought he would have gotten over such a thing some time ago. Was this similar to how William had felt when he'd first arrived in the Soul Society all those years ago? Looking back over his shoulder at the overstuffed leather furniture, heavy wooden bookcases, and soft carpeting that adorned his office he somehow doubted it. This world of luxury was William's not his, but seeing as this castle once belonged to the eccentric ex-captain it seemed only fitting that he should be the one to choose the decor... even if his choices were seemingly a bit over the top in Chevalier's humble opinion. But that was enough dwelling on that, the situation was what it was and there was very little he could do about it aside from what had already been done.

Hopping off of his sunny perch he picked up the zanpakutou that was leaning against his desk and headed for the door. What was supposed to be a reasonably short trip was delayed several times as various paiges and squires with business of some sort or another requiring his attention intercepted him with the intention of bending his furry little ears for a moment like they always did whenever he left his office, why they couldn't just all come to him during his office hours he had no idea, but he eventually made it to the throne room. As he was expecting, William was already there lounging by the fireplace and nursing a cup of tea while lost in his own little world. More likely as not that meant that he was probably thinking of his lost love again, he'd been dwelling on her a lot of late now that things had finally quieted down in the region and thus gave him fewer distractions with which to occupy his time.

Approaching as quietly as he could, so as not to break his friend out of his reverie, he took a seat in another of the empty chairs by the fire and waited for the older man to take note of his appearance. Whatever was going on in William's head he obviously had to work through on his own first, he'd talk about it when he was ready and in the mean time Chevalier would be there to quietly support him and ensure that he had all the time he needed.

William sat in front of his fire place his eyes closed, thinking of something. He was wondering what to do. There had been nothing going on in Prussia for a few months now, and it was starting to get rather boring around here. That and he couldn't keep his mind off of Enrya. "God how I wish I could hold her again..." William mumbled to himself, as he played with the necklace she gave him. He knew he was supposed to hate her though, just he didn't. Well he tried his best to, just he couldn't, because she was the only one who ever truly loved him. His parents did, but he had long forgotten about them. Kyle then heard the throne room doors open. It was smooth and didn't make a noise but he still knew, and heard the foot steps as the person entered.

William began to listen to the sounds of the footsteps. They were light, and silent. William knew who it was just by how silent they were. It was none other than Chevalier, his trusted friend, and co-founder of New Prussia. They had both survived the attack on SS, and had lead the others who made it out, to this land. Where it was save to hide, and live in. It had taken them a good number of years to get things setup, and make life save for the people now living within these walls, but it was worth it. The people, and soldiers here enjoyed their lives, as they should, since that was what William tried for. He had broken many bones helping to build the homes of every man in woman who entered the now massive city of New Prussia.

When Chevalier sat down at the seat beside his. William raised his head and turned to face Chevalier. He was the only man who knew about his love for Enrya, and the only one he could trust with the info. William smiled as he offered Chevalier a cup of tea. "So I'm guessing you can already tell what I'm thinking?" William continued, after chuckling to himself for a bit. "It's true I believe we should head out to either the wastelands, or look around Prussia... what do you think?" William asked as he took a sip from his cup.

It seemed that his approach had not been as quiet as he'd initially thought, either that or William hadn't been as lost in thought as he had believed. Regardless of which scenario was correct however, the result was the still same. William was once again aware of the world around him and had just acknowledged his presence.

Taking the offered cup he replied, “Sessha wouldn't be a very good Second if he couldn't tell something simple like that. The fact that This One specializes in reading people only makes it easier.” Quietly sipping his tea for a moment as his friend and commander continued, he weighed the two options in his head carefully before responding, “Considering we would most likely have heard about any trouble here in Prussia the answer to that question should be obvious, should it not? Unless of course you've heard something that Sessha has not?”

Taking another sip, he looked over at William and waited for his response. More then likely the ex-captain had already come to a decision on the matter, he was just using Chevalier as a sounding board to ensure that the choice he'd made was the right one, but that was fine with him. That was one of his many duties as the second ranking member of the Rogues, and also one of the few with which he'd already been experienced with due to his time as a vice-commander in the Seireitei.

William smiled as he heard Chevailer, agree with him. He knew he'd join in with the plan because they have known each other since Prussia was built a long time ago. "Alright then so its settled then Chevailer, we move to the wastelands. Gather together two other rogues and we will began the operation." William said standing up from his chair. As he did he downed the rest of his tea in his cup and then gently placed it down on a coffee table inbetween the two chairs infront of the fire place.

William began to move towards the massive doors of the throne. As he did though he picked up his Zanpakuto. Once he strapped his Zan to his belt he headed out. He slowly opened the door leading outside into the vast hallway. Once he was in the hallway he quickly disappeared; running towards the entrance of the castle itself. Once he was at the castle doors he looked back. He never knew, for this could be the last time seeing the castle. There was always that fear of not coming back, but it didn't bother William as much as if would anyone else.

William then stepped out of the doorway leaving the castle, and Prussia. He was now heading towards the wastelands.

Chevalier chuckled to himself at William's enthusiasm as he finished off his tea. The Rogue leader always seemed to have an impulsive streak in him, but today it was even more in evidence then usual which was going to make this little field trip even more interesting. He almost felt sorry for an Hollow that was unfortunate enough to cross their path while they were on this little excursion.

Rising from his chair he made his way towards the large wooden doors at the end of the Throne Room and the path that could only lead to trouble. Almost as if on cue, two ex-shingami, a knight-squire pair, appeared in front of him as he exited the throne room seeking to gain his attention.

'Divine providence,' he thought to himself with a smirk as he silenced them with a small wave of his hand, “Rogue One has decided that he wants to take a little walk out in the Wastelands, we will be providing him escort for the trip. Any objections?” A mischievous twinkle crept into his gaze as he awaited the pair's response, but the duo knew better then to question an assignment from him so they merely nodded and fell into step.

Moments later the three of them were standing outside the castle gates as William looked back at his home and readied himself for what was ahead. More likely as not he was merely being overly sentimental and cautious, but these days you never knew... with death lurking within every shadow the moment of one's demise might be a lot closer then he once believed.
