Personality: Tatsuya is a very violent and arrogant person, or rather that's the only way of portraying himself to others that he has ever been shown. Living in such a way would obviously make him an outcast to others. But should he ever be granted the opportunity to open up to others, they will see he is quite the opposite.

Fears: Though he tries to hide his emotions from others, you can never hide fear. He has been through many things in his life and many things he has learned to get over, but there is one fear in particular that haunts him. It is a common fear for most people, and that fear is of death. Tatsuya has never feared his own death, but rather the death of those he holds close to him. Over his years of hard living he has seen family and friends die before him. This fear also subconsciously keeps him from forming relationships with others, for fear of them being dragged away.

Strengths: Tatsuya is very quick-witted. He's able to read his opponents very well, although in the middle of battle it's not really his intention. During many battles he has been in he has picked up this trait and uses it to his advantage, and this has kept him alive thus far. He is also very athletic, thus giving him great agility and reaction time.

Weaknesses: While being an observational fighter, he is also very quick-tempered. This can be used against him in battle in order to try and get the better of him or to cloud his judgement.

Bio: Tatsuya was born in District 3, the area of North America that small civilizations have been created to harvest souls of the humans for the hollows food source. He was the offspring of shinigami parents who attempted to set these humans free from the hollows grasp. There were many shinigami who took part in this endeavor. Most knew that this mission would end with their lives, but it was something that all of them were willing to risk. Though, for some of the shinigami there was more to gain in betrayal. The day of the operation, it was found out that there were moles within the shinigami's operation, which in turn caused the shinigami still true to their cause to be executed by the hollows. Those who betrayed now worked for the hollow with the reward of keeping their lives. Tatsuya, still an infant at that time was turned over to be raised as an enforcer for the hollow.

Years passed, and Tatsuya grew, growing into an enforcer of the hollows violent and horrific ways. His job was to help round up the souls of those who were to be fed to the hollow, and kill those who showed the least bit of disobedience. This line of work made him cold. Killing was something that he had been trained to do, and he was good at it. Anyone who even spoke of revolt was quickly dealt with by his blade. His name quickly grew with infamy around the district, even some of the hollow he worked for began to fear him. Though he worked for the hollow, his power and the traitorous shinigami that he now lead were beginning to rival the power of a lot of them. This caused fear that maybe one day, even the shinigami would rise up and revolt. Hollow leaders around the district began to speak on this matter, and soon enough it was decided what must be done.

A few weeks passed and Tatsuya was now present within the shinigami quarters. He and his ragtag team of enforcers were celebrating a good day of work. All of a sudden a group of powerful hollows entered the premises. This wasn't an odd occurance, most of the time they came to check up on groups of enforcers to see how their quotas were coming along, and if they weren't up to par they were to be killed. Tatsuya knew his group performed exceptionally, so there was no reason to fear. The hollow proceeded to ask about how the day went, and Tatsuya proceeded to explain. After a bit the Hollow turned and began to talk amongst themselves. This was a bit out of the ordinary. Usually after a talk such as this one they'd get up and leave until the next week when this whole ritual had to be done again. The the hollow then turned and faced the group of shinigami. Without any words needing to be exchanged, they leapt forward and began to attack the shinigami. Tatsuya grabbed his blade and began to fight back with all his might. He managed to kill three of the hollow while suffering a severe gash across his chest, and a slice down his eye that nearly blinded him. The onslaught lasted for mere minutes, but it seemed like hours. The hollows then left the premises, leaving the shinigami for dead. Out of grace, Tatsuya managed to survive, his body badly beaten and his life slowly draining out of him, he had been left for dead. He managed to make his way up and examined the carnage around him. The sight that his left eye still held was greeted with a scene of gore and blood splattered all over the room. The people he had come to know as a family were now mutilated before him. Tatsuya knew he had to leave this place before they were to return. Mustering all the life he had left, he left and began to wander the desert.

Days passed and the only thing still keeping him alive was his reiatsu. It was slowly healing his wounds to the point where they weren't bleeding profusely, but the blood that he had already lost still made death a possibility. He had no nourishment either. Tatsuya knew it was inevitable that his death would soon be upon him. He could feel death's cold embrace slowly coming over him. But something kept him moving. This could have been attributed to his reiatsu once more, but it was something else. It was hate. Hate for the beings that betrayed him. Hate for the beings that put him to work, only to grievously attack him and kill his comrades. He had dedicated his life to serving the whims of the Hollow, only to be treated like this in the end. He needed vengeance. His hate began to build until he could almost feel it within himself, pressing him on, giving him motivation, keeping him alive.

Though, as much as hate can be a motivator, it can only last for so long. His body began to give out, causing him to pass out within the sands of The Wastelands.
